Australia in £500s return from London Heathrow in Feb – June (Etihad Airways)

Routes by 5-star Etihad Airways from London, with some higher options from Manchester...
Things we like about this Etihad deal: top notch 5* airline, one of the shortest routes down under & dates during Australian summertime.

We should note that these have also been reduced a tad from Manchester too, though we have seen those fares fall lower with other quality airlines, so they're still just outside of our stringent JFC 'deal-worthy' status.

Sydney (SYD) - £565
Brisbane (BNE) - £570
Melbourne (MEL) - £567

Here's how to book:

1. Head to Google Flights and use their handy calendar tool to find the best travel dates for your route, by locating the dates with the lowest fares. If you prefer to book directly (higher fares, lower change fees), then follow the link to the airline website and book.

Note: in March there are some lower fares on China Southern. We feel these Etihad ones are overall better value, but if you're after the absolute lowest price down under, change your filter settings to find the China Southern route.

2. To get the lowest possible fares (those listed above), head over to Skyscanner, re-enter your itinerary and book with an OTA (online travel agent).
