Anyone keen on a Vegas trip? Or Portland, which is ranked the 'best food city' in America by the Washington Post, if you're after something a tad less touristy. Both routes dropped substantially yesterday, with departures from all over the UK. Lots of long-weekend options for Vegas as well :-)

Note: some of these routes will have 2 stops en route as neither of these destinations are a major airport hub, but there are dates that offer 1-stop options for £10-£30 more, such as the example itinerary below from Glasgow. You can limit your Google Flights search to 1-stop to filter out the other options.
Returns to Las Vegas (LAS):

Manchester (MAN) - £310
Inverness (INV) - £229
Glasgow (GLA) - £313
Newcastle (NCL) - £303
Leeds (LBA) - £311
Belfast (BHD - £311
Aberdeen (ABZ) - £304

Returns to Portland (PDX):

Manchester (MAN) - £302
Inverness (INV) - £227
Glasgow (GLA) - £310
Newcastle (NCL) - £303
Leeds (LBA) - £325
London (LHR) - £362

Here's how to book:

1. Head to Google Flights and use their handy calendar tool to find the best travel dates for your route, by locating the dates with the lowest fares. If you prefer to book directly (higher fares, smaller change fees), then follow the link to the airline website and book.

2. To get the lowest possible fares (those listed above), head over to Momondo, re-enter your itinerary and book with an OTA (online travel agent).

Note: the airline listed in Momondo can sometimes show up as Iberia or another one-world alliance partner, but these routes are all operated by British Airways.
