*price drop* Mexico City in £300/£400s return from all over UK in Oct – March (British Airways)

We thought these were low when they dropped for a few days last month, but they've now they've hit rock bottom! Mexico City flights are hard to come by, usually hovering around the £700 mark for most of the year - so these are exceptional value

All flights are with Oneworld alliance airlines, which for this route means British Airways & Iberia for London departures and some routes with American Airlines from further north. On most dates, London routes also have an option for a direct return leg as well.

Pro Tip: with the big BA sale going on right now (and local one-way flights being quite reasonable in this region) you can also pair Mexico City with another destination in the area. Here is an example flying into MEX and out of Havana and another returning from Costa Rica at £397 instead :-)

Here's how to book:

1. Head to Google Flights and use their handy calendar tool to find the best travel dates for your route, by locating the dates with the lowest fares. If you prefer to book directly (higher fares, lower change fees), then follow the link to the airline website and book.

Note: I found Sunday - Wednesday departures work best when searching for dates on these routes.

2. To get the lowest possible fares (those listed above), head over to Momondo, re-enter your itinerary and book with an OTA (online travel agent).
